Clear Aligners
What are the advantages of the clear aligners?
- Ideal for adult patients who are reluctant to have a lengthy orthodontic treatment wearing metal brackets or bulky removable appliances.
- An excellent tool for final correction after orthodontic treatment, or Inman Aligner.
- Can realign teeth after relapse post orthodontic treatment.
- Best for aligning mild crowding of anterior teeth.
- Most effective in labial, lingual & rotation movement with some limited intrusion and extrusion.
- A single posterior tooth can be moved buccally or lingually.
- Simple cases can be finished with only two or three aligners.
- The Aligner is very thin, it doesn’t impede on speech and it is invisible.
Before wearing the Aligner
After wearing the Aligner for two weeks
How does it work?
Upper & lower silicone based impressions sent to the Lab.
Plaster casts are made & the case is assessed.
Up to five aligners can be made out of each impression.
Inter Proximal Reduction instructions for each aligner will be indicated on a card.
Each aligner should be worn for about two weeks.
Care instructions for patient will be enclosed.
